Hi, can anyone reccomend a reasonably priced dvd player that plays WMA files? I'm looking to buy one as gift. I have a Yamada 6600 and would more than happy to buy another one of these if I could find one anywhere to buy!!!

Also sorry I seem uninformed, but I'm just starting out on the whole WMA, DivX and XviD thing - Are WMA and XviD the same thing?

    Many thanks.

I can't recommend a player, but I can tell you that WMA isn't the same as XviD. XviD is an MPEG-4 ASP video codec (like DivX) while WMA is Windows Media Audio, an MS audio codec with no association to the MPEG organization. If you're actually talking about WMV, it's a video codec, but still has no association to MPEG.

Guess we don't need this one then.
