Hey everyone, I've been using WMC for my WMV files and VLC for anything else, the only reason I don't use VLC is because when I try to skip around the movie I get some wicked sorts of bleeding effects, and tearing, a whole mess. But this has been happening since i can remember so thats not why I'm here today. watching AVI's in VLC i can skip around with no-lag, not stuttering, buffering whatever. Its very nice watching WMV's in WMC I can still skip around, but there is like a 3-4 second delay each time before playback begins again, I know its not very bad at all, but is there any way to remedy this? btw I'm using FFDshow also, i have 1gig of ram, 3700+, and a 7600gt if any of that matters at all
Happens to me not matter what i play with in WMC, i guess it just takes a little time to buffer or something.
