i've noticed that whenever i open wmp to burn a cd the burn speed automatically resets back to "fastest." this has caused several cd's to not burn correctly and are unplayable. i set the speed to 32x but it always goes back to "fastest" when i open it back up. is there a way to keep it at the speed i want so i dont have to change it everytime? thanx.

do you set your speeds as follows?-click start-my computer-right click cdrw drive-click properties-click recording tab-selcect speed on drop down list-then click ok. i think the speed reverts to default if a different speed has been selected previously. cheers-terrace
