I have some questions about video files that require you to get a license to play. I've tried looking into it, but I keep coming across old posts/news or unanswered posts.

Is there anyway to get past the license required to play some protected video files? If a video file needs a license to play it, do you just need to find a way to decrypt the file? Are all the files encrypted the same or can whoever protected the file use any kind of encryption they want?

Those wmv files are a pain in the a*^&. Usually to play that type of content you have to connect to the web and download the "keys". In my opinon, it;s not worth it. Delete the damn file. LOL
