Like the subject says I can boot backup fine with "normal boot" but if I go into toxic os and hit Load Disk it says "Unable to load disk!" this is very confusing I'm not sure what to do I thought I could try hard grounding it but before I pull it apart again I thought I should ask. My system is a v8 fatty with a DMS4 EZI PRO SE
I found that some combinations of hardware and the Toxic OS wouldn't load discs properly. I either had to hold down the "quick boot" button, or switch over to ULE.
well at least it works in normal and quick boot, strange though, if anyone has any info it would be welcomed thanks
well you were right I tried everything I adjusted the pot, cleaned the lens, adjusted the laser hight, and grounded the chip better and it didn't help at all...$%@&...
i've got dms4 pro and most of my backups work just fine - installing to hard drive and everything. so far i've noticed "ico" and "stuntman ignition" only boot normally - ie through ps2 browser, and i can't copy them to hdd. nothing helpful to add - sorry, just another report.
