my burner benQ was working fine, now every movie I back up will not play in my DVD player or my PC. No errors, bought a new pack or DVD-R discs still the same. Any ideas? could it be my burner?
Need some more info. What programs are you useing to transcode and burn? What speed are you burning at? What model benq do you have and what firmware? You can use this free proggy to determine model and f/w. Revision is the firmware. http://www.vso-software.fr/inspector/inspector.htm What brand and media ID are your blank discs? You can also use vso inspector to ID you media. You must have a disc loaded in your drive and then click the media tab. Mort

Your firmware is very outdated and doesn't even show up. The current f/w is B7W9. http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1905 Keep your burn speed to 4x. @l8nights Mort
