I have been doing this for a while now and this is the first time I've had this problem. The disc reads and writes with no problem but when I try to put the copy in a dvd player it does nothing but spin. If I try it in my computer drive it locks up whatever program I am using. Basically I wanted to know what could be causing this error. I uses DVD Decrypter and shrink.
    DVD-R/RW:Mitsumi DW7801-TE
Media: Currently Verbatim DVD+R, though I think this has nothing to do with it.
    Please help.

    hi

could be a bad batch of discs? have you changed brand?

i would uninstall all apps and reload

    check DMA and ASPI layer

do you have another drive on the pc? as it could be faulty as in burning which means the disc may not play on anything you use?

I don't think it's a bad batch of discs, it was working just a few ago but I could be wrong. Would you uninstall decryptor and shrink or more? I know what DMA and PIO settings are but what is the ASPI layer (I'm a newb). And yes I have another drive on the pc but it is having issues of its own. Whenever I put a disc in it it locks up and then "vanishes" from my computer completely. Even the icon disappears for the drive under My Computer and you can't find it in the settings. The only way to then get that disc out is to take it out WHILE it is rebooting. Thanks.
