Wont turn on..

    Hi

    My laptop has just broken down. I have just gone to turn it on and i get the messge 'windows could not start because this file is either missing or currupt' this file is something to do with system 32. Anyway ive tapped f5 until the advanced options come on i have clicked restore and i get disk read error press ctrl alt delete to restart. Anybody know what i should do?

    do you have a boot disk? you might try using your install disk that cam with your laptop, hope that helps

    no i didnt get one with it. is there anything else i could boot it with?

    do you have a install disk?, well you you could wipe the drive and do a new install of windows, or get a bigger hd and do a cleen install, and when you get your problem fixed make sure that you make a boot disk ok? good luck
