i live in tokyo but i want to watch US tv shows. i know there are ways to stream free content such as on HULU or some of the networks like CBS or NBC, but i get a message saying, "sorry this content is only for US users." some great sites like comedy central don't care, so i get my jon stewart fixes. but does anybody know a way to get access to those US-only streams? i have a 100mbps connection using fiber optic cable, XP (sp3), what other info should i provide? thanx for any ideas! julia
Instead of going to the network's website, which in some cases ask you to install some specific player, go to a different site that streams the same content, like Sidereel (I use it to watch all the shows that i follow but miss when aired) , Movie2k, Alluc...Just install a pop-up blocker and you should be good.
The idea of using a different site is not to play from the same link that blocks you. Are you for example blocked from viewing files hosted on MegaVideo or others like that? For example, last episode of Smallville, can you watch this? http://www.megavideo.com/?v=TRFPFEBE Or for example the last episode of Grey's Anatomy, can you watch this, or are you blocked aslo: http://www.sidereel.com/Grey's_Anatomy/_watchlinkviewer/17318 Some might have advertising, that's why a pop-up blocker will help.
