im getting my xbox back from repair next week, and thought about modding it. with this recent bans im a little hesitant. would now be a good time to mod because the wave is over? also say i was banned, could i theoretically send my xbox in and have it repaired and come back to me unbanned, assuming the warranty sticker is still intact?
If I'm not mistaken, when you get a console banned, it's warranty gets void. But I don't know if they check if consoles are banned at the repair place or not.
If you were banned and sent your xbox in they would probably want to know the reason you were banned and if the reason was modding then they probably wouldn't fix it. Also its fine to mod now, My theory is the ban wave was only 1 day, seemed like most people were banned on the 31st. Just make sure you get your games from a reliable source and run them all through abgx.
I would wait until after the November update. I've got a feeling this ban wave was only the beginning.
An appetizer of sorts? LOL Chris is right, wait till november, let the crisis pass and when the coast is clear then you flash. But please, pleaseeeeeeee, learn how to properly stealth your games and the other keys to not getting banned; ofcourse unless you know all this already then game on.
