Would you get a MAC Now or Later?

    Well I am a PC user and have never used MAC's before but I'm switching because MACs can now have Windows XP and Mac OS. My question is:

    Should I get the newest (and best) MAC notebook now or wait till I leave for college about a week before (sometime in September) just incase the hardware gets better?

    you can only put the XP on the intel machines. would recommend the macbook.. the new ones were just released today.. check those out.

    The macbook. Is it better than those 2799 PowerBooks with Intel in them? The reason I cant decide between buying now or later is because if I buy it now ill have it now and get to use it (exciting!) but if I wait, I could possibly be able to get an even better notebook. For example, for just waiting till today at least, Mac came out with a new notebook.
