Now guys. here is the deal. I was able to get 3 100disk spindles of DYNEX DVD-R from Best Buy in Everett, WA on Black Friday Sale. NOW GET THIS. Media code that it gives is MCC 03RG20 !!!! I even Opened another 100 pack just to make sure my eyes are not deceiving me. Now Am I Lucky or its fakes. Because they work great and now that i am looking at the both. Verb and Dynex they look very much alike. the dye color and top coating. tell me I was lucky to get Badass media for 5$ for 100 disks. ps. I just got my order of Verbatims from OfficeMax (7.98 for 50pack) and they are what they are suppose to be MCC03RG20

" You Have done well young Padawan !!!! now get these snakes off my Futon" I was P'0ed @ BestBUY because after getting up @ 4 am to stand in-line on black friday !!! for like an hour everyone else but me was walking around with 3 or more spindles of the DYnex ( Limit 2 per customer ) & I could'nt find any ! I figured if I was lucky they might be Riteks or Ricohjpns under the DYnex name ! & for $5.00+ tax I was willing to take a gamble ! I asked a BB employee & they said they were giving them away for free ! & they were out ! I found one spindle in a blocked off area & was willing to pay for it ! I got a BestBUY salesgirl to get it for me ! & she purposefully walked right past it like 3 times before handing it too me ! Then she tries to tell me That these are'nt the same ones that are on sale ! I told her same brand , same speed , same format , yes they were ! she starts babbling on about sku numbers yada , yada, yada, so I hand them back and say here ! and leave ! If I'm going to pay full price I'm going to get a Brand That I know is Good up front Like Verbatims that are Verbatim Branded !But you did well SlowSTi ! LOL.. I am sorry buddy. There was ALOT of ppl there. They had some crazzzy deals too. HP Media Center Laptop for 375$ and Toshiba Laptop for 250$... But you can only get good stuff if you wait my friend. So I was there at 4PM day before (was number 18 already) and we camped out for 12 hours so we can get some nice deals. The main reson for wait was HP laptop. Needless to say I got both laptops (I wasnt waiting for 12 hours in freezing weather for nothing) Resold Toshiba so My HP only endup cosing me about 100$. Couple packs of Dynex DVD-Rs Since then I added a 1GIG of PC5300 and got me a nice WD Passport 160gb slim external HD. So now its Ultimate Portable DVD burning mashine Oh and on the side note. By 3am there was about 300 People in line. It was wraped all around the building.
SlowSTi- The laptops sold out thanksgiving day & they were supposed to be an unlisted//Unadvertised sale Item ( Employee 's probably Scarfed those up ! I got the Compaq V5305WM ( walmart sale ) Nov. 5 ,2006 which was Coincidently My 5th Wedding anniversary !!! Got up 4:00am left for Wallyworld 4"30 am got there before store staff did ! The assistant manager let me sit in the foyer of ther store( COLD OUTSIDE ) at 5:30 am & gave me my coupon ( #1) at 5:40 am I checked out with my laptop & was back home for a little past six! I would have preferred a Laptop with a DVD burner instead of just a Combo DVD writer /CD Burner But for The price I'm happy ! I could always buy a external Burner ! I have one I made from my old NEC-2500A but it's a little bulky to schlepp around ! I also Have a 400gb Hitachi HDD in a Usb Enclosure ( Iso Files mostly ) The laptop is more of a secondary computer anyway ! Will probably add a GIG of memory later? have a BestBUY card coming from my Son in law so we'll see ! I like BestBuy alright they just get a little hinky on Black friday ? ( For what it's worth my son in law went back to bestbuy later that day and said people were returning the DYnex in droves ! This was in The New orleans area ! ) Our line was all the way around the building Too ! I shop bestbuy mainly foR Dvd media ( Sony's & Verbatims ) mostly ! & occasionally at Officedepot ! or whoever has the deal on what I want !
