    Hi cokeaddik,

I need some information if you need help.
What sort of drive do you have? What brand and type (DVD/CD..) is it? Have you recently installed any new software? What brand and type of disc won't your drive read? Have you recently updated your firmware.

    Hi mate,

    to answer your questions,

What sort of drive do you have? What brand and type (DVD/CD..) is it?
    It is a sony, DRU-710a, DVD +- 16x.

Have you recently installed any new software?
THe only software that I recentlky installed BUT not used yet is DVDlab pro.

What brand and type of disc won't your drive read? Have you recently updated your firmware.
The brand is Ritek, the same batch that I have been using and I open a new batch of 50s, still the same- max 8x DVD-R. Cant recognise.
I also updated my firmware from Sony webpage after I experience a multiple burning failure with both dycrpyter & 120%.

    Pls help.

The write is faulty. Went to the service ctr and got it replace. GOt back home, installed it and everything is fine now. How that will help anybody who has the same problem.
