I've been using 321 Platinum for 7 months without any problems with backing up my DVDs. Lately, two problems occurred; (1) write disk error with "Secret Window" and "Remember the Titans", (2) unable to rip "Butterfly Effect" for backup. Does someone have a solution for this.

Maybe you should try with DVD Shirnk and DVD Decrypter. Shrink does analyse and encode the DVD and Decrypter write's it.

Both of these programs are free, you can find them in the "Software" page, you can find this on top of the page.

    Thanks Phys

The info was helpful. It worked like a charm. It took much longer than DVDXCopy but it had no problems decoding. I only used DVD shrink.
Would you know how to do this process, but faster?

Hmm, there's an option when you click on "backup" in DVD Shrink: its' called "Deep Analysis" or something, if you unclick this box, you'll get faster results but "Deep analysis" improves the image quality.

I know it's long but it works =)

And don't forget that this is the begining of the DVD Burners.. Remember the firsts CD Burners??.. took forever to burn a cd. Now it takes like 2 or 3 mins to burn 700mb =)

It will be the same for DVDs soon enough i think hehe
