Was backing up some of my newer DVDs today, and they worked well. I didn't write on any of them till I came and checked out the forum. Everyone said sharpie would be ok, so I stoped a DVD that was in my player, wrote a title on the lines and poped it back in. It started in the same spot but instantly started to go choppy. This continued, so I put the movie back to the start. Later on in the movie, about the place where I took it out, its choppy again. It was playing fine before I took it out. Wondering if I did something wrong, or if it might be the sharpie.

    Thanks.
edit: After looking at it closer, it goes choppy about 30 seconds before I took it out, then goes another chapter of choppy, then its ok again.
