i think pal is for people in the uk or something, and ntsc is for the people in the states and canada

Hooked on Phonics gents. The game does work and most likely, everyone has the Pal edition cuz NTSC isnt out yet. If you are in AMERICA OR CANADA YOU are NTSC. If you are from any european country that is across the Atlantic, you are PAL. Now for those that are NTSC and want to play a pal game, when Swap magic loads up push down on the control pad and then push over til it says NTSC. Now boot up with that.

Can I say it any clearer???????

Nice answer, but I'm already in the PAL region so no conversion is necessary, but the game still doesn't work, so what now?

(P.S. I'm using CogSwap, not SwapMagic)

After one week of search in the net for the solution for the people o get the black screen in this game I found the solution: Zoneloader... If you load the Zoneloader with Swap Magic and Smackdown VS Raw 2007 with the Zoneloader the game works perfect. So, all you have to do is to search the internet fot an iso of the DVD version of Zoneloader... cheap and easy :D .

You probably have another solution (I didn't test it)... buy the most recent version of Swap Magic (I think it's Swap Magic Coder 3.8). With this version I think it works.

Already tried ZoneLoader, I got that WWE icon in the corner, but after that it's just a plain black screen.

mine works fine used imgburn ,burn at 2x datawrite disk using swapmagic 3.6
the problem can be the speed that you burn the disks slower the better

thats not always the case.. if you got a Liteon Burner and first class media you can burn at 8X and your game will still run flawlessly.. I've been doing it for months lol :D

Oh BTW, I got Smackdown Vs Raw to work, I used Zoneloader and it worked perfect. :)

I may have to update my swap magic (version 2.0 USA build) but it works for my other back up games. S vs R 07 is the only one thats not working. Any suggestions?

I found and burned zoneloader. Put in swap magic, then zone loader, changed it to PAL and still got the black screen

    Any other suggestions?

    OK,

I rebuilt S vs R 2007 and i still get the black screen i have all SM2.0, SM3.6 and i have cogswap on the memory card. Neither work, cogswap loads the icon on the lower right corner of the screen but then hangs at the blackscreen. The game is in NTSC using NTSC PS2 by the way.

try Zoneloader. I never got it to work with Swap Magic V2.0 and so I tried Zoneloader DVD and it worked. The game and console are both PAL.

OK i got it to work somehow,

BTW the cogswap i mentioned i used is in my MEM CARD as an ELF File (PS2 EXPLOIT for those who dont know). Anyway i went and downloaded Zoneloader.elf but couldnt use it to play ANY of the backups - so i dont know how to use Zoneloader. Anyway, earlier i couldnt get to work the Rebuilt game using Cogswap (CLOCK TOWER 3 as BIG TOC) but today i used NBA LIVE 06 as TOC and it worked. Maybe Clock Tower 3 isnt as good as i tought it was for Table of Contents. Let me know if something comes up.
