    hey everyone.
i'm waiting to get a part from ebay (the via 6421 SATA card..onboard sata wouldn't work) to flash my BENq. i already spent a bunch of cash on the DL burner and discs and shit and dont want to spend more. it says for wxripper you need a dvd that's over 7.5 gigs...im pretty sure i don't have any.

i've made a dummy file on my desktop of 7.8 gigs. can i burn that to a dvd and then use that in place of the DVD movie? or does it have to be like a real working disc?

    thanks in advance

Once you get your BenQ flashed, just used that to rip games. The winxripper method is a joke and doesn't even rip the security info. Personally, I wouldn't be so stingy and get a Kreon. Really isn't costing you that much versus what you should be paying.

leerage also brings up a good point that needs to be stressed ... always try to compare what you would be paying if you were not backing up games ... (getting a bit off topic) i get really annoyed when people wont go the extra mile to buy good media or good hardware for backing up ... hell you could buy everything you need to back up your who library for less that one retail game ... in my case any way lol
