I was on a PC Engineering course a while back at college and some kid who was a complete boff told me he had an emulator on his PC which allowed him to run X-Box games from his DVD drive on his PC. Knowing back then my pc (which I had back then also) struggles to play Nes roms, there was no point asking for any further info on it. Now however, it is so i thought I would look into it more, and from reading all the forums and searching the net I have still not managed to find any confirmation of this existing. Does it?.. Just interested as it would allow me in some ways to have a second Xbox.
That "kid" you were talking to Mad_Bob is, how do I say this nicely... Full of Crap! No working Xbox emulators for the PC are released and don't plan on any being released for a long time if ever.
Ok... Lol I thought he was full of crap before he even mentioned that... Nice to know though about it not working, saves me searching for it. Chees people.
If Any one eva finds a good xbox emulator or a way to emulate xbox games plz tell even if you have to copy the game on to the computer
Even if there was an emulator, I suspect you will need to have some kind of super computer to emulate it. So dude just frickin' buy a used Xbox, don't be a cheapass. Get on eBay and find yourself a good deal.
Try CXBX, it's only able to emulate Turok at the moment, and I don't believe it's perfect either. http://www.caustik.com/cxbx/index.htm
