Ok i have recently installed a Xenium Ice mod chip and a Maxtor 200Gb Pre loaded hard drive into my version 1 xbox. (I think all that went fine). I have also loaded the newest version of EvoX dashboard wich is working to a degree. I have three problems. 1) I can't seem to see any files on my hard drive when i FTP it using Flash FXP (I can see files on other sites just not my xbox) I have checked show hidden and followed 3 different noddy guides all of them failed. 2) I can't access any of the preloaded software on the hard drive and i can't backup my games to the hard disc either. All the files are there that i am aware of. 3) My final problem is i am having difficulties adapting my evox.ini file to search for and load my programs i have even tried noddy guides for this.(I think problems 2 and 3 are connected maybe even 1 as well) Please if anyone can help i would be eternaly gratefull. thank you all in advance.
First, you need to format your HD so that it supports your F: and if you created it G: partitions. Now, make sure you are using an untouched evox.ini file On your Xbox's F: make two folders, one named "Games" and the other named "Apps" FTP your stuff into one of those two folders above, and you should be able to see the things you uploaded then.
