Hey everyone, I guess you could say that I am pretty new to all of this. I am 20 years old and I understand electronics pretty well and can follow directions easy also. However, I am having the hardest time ever with my X-Box. Here is my problem: I have the X-Chip installed on my X-Box along with the EvoX_XCHIP_BIOS_V1.3. I flashed this BIOS onto my X-Box using X-Control flashing software. This software will also not flash anything else but EvoX_XCHIP_BIOS_V1.3, which I have on my X-Box now. I have tried about every method I can find here and on X-Boxscene and I have come to no success. All I want to do is be able to FTP to my X-Box but I cannot even get it to boot the evoxdash.xbe so I can find my IP. I used a CD-RW, CD-R, and a DVD-R. None of these are able to be read. I am also using Nero Express 6 to burn the ISO image. Secondly! What do I need to FTP to my box? Can I use a cable line or do I need a phone line? Also, do I need to plug it into my Linksys wireless router or directly into the back of my X-Box? My X-Box, I believe, is V1.3. Please help! If you need more information please let me know... I would LOVE to figure this thing out...
