Do you guys recommend the X1600XT? What is it equal to in the X800 line? Any driver issues?

No performance charts or 3Dmark tests. I want cold hard experience.

X1600XT performs like the X1800 or the X800? Confused here.

No X800 series card performs like an X1800, trust me. The closest gap you get is the X850XT and X1800GTO which is more of a dumbed down version anyway.

Hmm... kinda warped don'tcha think? They're testing it with a Pentium D 840. Sort of dumbs it down. At first I was thinking, "Wow, these scores are pretty low." Cuz I know that some of those cards can do better on FEAR than that.

But then again, who actually plays games THAT demanding on the VERY highest quality settings. I usually play without AA and AF because I don't personally notice a big enough difference to justify the loss in speed. I play at high on everything instead of maximum at 1024 x 768(what I deem to be the minimum for enjoyable play). I average 45-60FPS comfortably.

I truthfully see no difference between High and Maximum quality except for the performance hit I take.

But that helped a bit. No FarCry or HL2 benches. Weird...
