X264 mkv on PS3 with subs on/off feature?????

    I've been using mkv2vob to bring my x264 to PS3. It works flawless.

    Except the subtitles part. All my mkv's have the subs built in, and if I click "Always Encode Subs" then I can't turn the subs off they are hard encoded there.

    Is there any way I can create these with the option to turn the subs on and off? It becomes a problem in movies like 30 Days Of The Night were I need the subs for Vampire speak.

    Check the stickies. There is a video creation thread and I think it talks about your problem there. Also there are better tools then mkv2vob, but thats the tool I use most of the time as well.

    The sticky thread talks about these applications, but in the 100 pages in it I have no idea where I would find my problem talked about...
