I've been looking into getting an X3 mod chip for my XboX. Couple of questions I have: Do I really need the LCD screen? Does solderless work as well as soldered? I have XboX v1.0 - is there a better chip to get? Thanks in advance.
no you do not need the lcd or the pro switch...these items are just for looks...you can get solderless x3 for 1.0-1.5 xbox's...the x3 is fairly expensive, you can get a solderless x2.6 for $43.99 or a solderless xenium ice for $49.99...it is up to you though, just thought i would let you know you can save yourself $20-$30.
