I just flashed my X3 chip with the newest x3 bios. i used the 1.6 version. it will not boot to the x3 live config with upgraded hd installed. they only way it will let me boot to x3 is with the original hd. is this a problem with the 1.6. i didnt have this problem on my other 1.0 xbox. so when i do try booting x3 with my 120 hd it just says error code 6. it will also not let me run slayers. has anyone else had this problem? if so how did you fix it? any help would be appreciated.
no it wont let me boot to the x3 bios unless the original hd is installed. i can hold the white button down and it still wont boot up.
try using a autoinstaller such as slayers or something that will auto boot and format the drive and install all your apps and things. find it at xbins
