x64 anti virus

    Hello, I have been trying to install a anti virus on xp x64 edition and it willnot work. I was trying to install norton 05 and I also tryed 06. Is there one that will work with xp x64 edition?

    Some AV companies claim their patches will allow them to be used on x64, but I haven't heard of any reliable ones yet. There are no specific x64 AV programs yet...

    great AV Free and x64. did I mention Free?
    I used before I went to 64 and am glad I can still use it.

    AVG has a x64 version out ,works so far so good for me

    As of today, Symantec's website say's there are no Norton Products that support 64 Bit O/S. They're working on it. Avast v4.6 does a good job on my 64 bit machine.
