xan u standby with a modem, without a router, n how????

    do u have to have a router to standby on halo 2?

    no, you need a MODEM, check to see if it has a standby button or an off and on buttin. if it does press it ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE HOST. you will get a window of about 9 secodns to kill people if it goes to blue screen you need to turn it back on. but PLEASE dont do it in matchmaking, it ruins it for everybody.
