hey everyone, I live in a college dorm and they block the ports for pretty much everything. but I want to try to tunnel through AIM or http to get connected to XBconnect, im not exactly sure what im doing so i figured this would be the place to ask. can anyone help me out or point me to some helpful links?
Sorry, I am not sure but this did remind me of when I was in college back in the mid-90's when the Internet was getting big. I had a roommate who was computer science and he figured out how to access the school Internet through telnet somehow. I tried to do it but couldn't. I probably could now but that was one of the things for us then: the school did not provide us with free Internet then in the dorms like most do now. I am a teacher now and the school system blocks nearly everything that we want to access. I get around it all the time by tunnelling through search engines' cache of sites. Good luck.
