Every time i try to config XBMC (using smb)to my PC i get asked for a password for my PC? then cannot connect to server when i dont enter one, its not xbox:xbox or any other password.. tried them all!! more to the point I dont have a password on this connection I have set my Network to the book according to the tutorials xbox ip:192.168.0.3 sub Mask: 225.225.225.0 gateway:0.0.0.0 NIC ip:192.168.0.2 sub Mask:225.225.225.0 gateway:192.168.0.1 XBMC is set to dashboard default for ip adressing. It should connect okay using my computer name and sharefolder but it always ask's for a password? how do i get rid of a non existent password?!?!?!? im running Windows XP SP2 + latest updates XBMC Build XBMC-CVS_2005-10-23-T3CH
I was trying to go access my pc from the xbox with a guest account (harder than it looks)! I made another account and all if fine..or so i thought i've made a new thread about the problem
