Hi, I have recently been using XBMC as my dashboard for my XBOX instead of Avalaunch. I have my XBOX connected to my home network using a wireless bridge. I have full access to my XBOX through my network. When I use Avalaunch, I am able to stream news feeds from the internet so I know that I am able to get out to the internet to pull that content. My problem with XBMC is when I use plugins such as Apple Movie Trailers, the Hulu video streaming plugin, Youtube, or any other script or plugin which streams content from the web, my XBOX doesn't load/fetch any of the content. I have the latest Build from T3CH. Any and all of your expert advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Help with Xbox XBMC Hulu Plugin Patch I recently softmodded my xbox & cracked the box to install a bigger HD (320GB) using a compilation of tutorials found at various forums (many thanks to Chunkhead, et al, and Lifehacker). It's amazing what you can do by just reading the forums and following directions... For the past two weeks I had been using a Hulu xbox XBMC plugin (Rwparris version) that was working fine (long live Family Guy!). After the recent Hulu code change, I deleted the Hulu plugin I had been using, downloaded the patched plugin (http://xbmc.org/forum/showpost.php?p=286346&postcount=583), and installed it into my apps/xbmc/plugins/videos folder. The plugin starts, allows me to list all of the various shows on Hulu, shows thumbnail images of episodes, I can drill down to specific episodes, but when I try to play an episode, I get the error message "Error Python Script failed: special//home/plugins/video/Hulu/default.py" Any thoughts? I am running the latest xbmc build (18Feb2009), with UnleashX as my dash. Previously my Hulu plugin worked fine, but the patched version downloaded on 21Feb2009 after Hulu's code change gives above error message. All help and suggestions greatly appreciated! Cheers.
