Hi, I just recently (finally) modded my original xbox and installed XBMC 1.0. I have configured a few video sources and set the content type to movies, pointed them at IMDb, etc., but I still can't get Library Mode to do anything... The menu item on the left side is always disabled. If it matters, all of my content (videos, music, etc.) are on samba shares, but I'd think xbmc wouldn't care whether they're on the local disk or on the network. Anything else I need to do to make this work? I'm guessing I've got a reasonably up-to-date version of XBMC but I'm not positive about that. thanks! -niik
Man there's nothing I hate more than having a problem, looking for an answer for a few hours, posting a question, and then finding the answer 12 seconds later. Anyway, the problem I was having was that I didn't have a DNS server assigned, so the library couldn't reach IMDb. Argh.
Hi, Im new here and new at the xbmc scene. Im having the same issues with xbmc on windows. Library mode is always disabled (not selectable). I don't believe it's a network problem since the apple trailers en weather are working fine. Anybody know how I can fix this? tnx
