I'm getting a 300 GB hdd in 3 days for my XBox, and I currently have UnleashX softmod, but I have a guide to install XBMC as a dash instead... I want to do this so I can play my movies & music [over 100 GB of music, and countless DVD's lying around I DVD Shrinked] but I've been looking around at guides & manuals for XBMC and my question is this: can you still play XBox games & emulators, & rip XBox DVD games to the hdd with XBMC? Thanks for the help
Yes ofcourse i have XBMC as a application but XBMC as the main Dash is what numerous people do...but yes you can still play Games and everything else through that dash really it is more advanced than unleashx....to rip the games to HD you would USE DVD2Xbox which i assume you are using now....
ohh so you would use an actual application, rather than the built in ripping software built in to i.e. UnleashX? also, is there a thread that has a good guide to installing a new xbx hdd?
