Hello everyone i hope you can help. I have an xbox 1.6 xenium spice mod chip m8v16 67 bios. I have bin playing my backups from the harddrive for about 3 mabye 4 month no problem. Bought sid mears pirates, backed it up. I played for about 20 minutes and the game froze. I rebooted it and 20 minuites it froze again. I started reading and found i should clear my cash. So i deleated everything in zxy and the cache folder on E. Turned off igr in the evo settings. Still had the problem. So i deleated the game and i will play it off the disk. No problem. But now all of my backups that i have on the harddrive are freezing. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this. Oh yea i also tired the x2 5028 bios still the same problem.
Try what joesin said first, but I would not suspect it being a bios problem as they worked fine before w/ it. You could try this game freezing link: http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/backupfreezexbox.htm Since all of your games are freezing whent trying to play off of your HD, you should think about saving all of your info. on that HD if possible and reformatting it and starting over. How big of a HD do you have and how much space are you using up on it?
I was thinking that reformat the harddrive. I have a 160 gig harddrive with 50 gigs left. I thank everyone for their help. If anyone has any more suggestion they would be greatly appreciated.
