dstruktiv released a hacked version of the Xbox 1 emulator for Xbox 360. This Xbox 1 emulator lets you run any XBE from your Xbox 360 (this includes the Xbox 1 but also the hundreds of homebrew applications and games available on Xbox 1 ). Features: - Remove the XBE signature verification (can therefore run unsigned code) - Remove hash checking (allows to launch XBE modified) - Remove the check from the region - Remove the check media (can launch from the hard drive) - Support for Debug XBE / Devkit (can launch your own code Xbox 1) - Allows the use of games not officially supported by Microsoft (but not all games are officially supported to run not sure). Installation: Just replace the files on your partition HddX by those present in the archive. Download XB1 Hacked Emulator
Now all we need to get is a modified version of avalaunch that will launch both Xbox 360 games, and xbox 1 games, and get video files running inside XBMC!
I still think a Avalaunch for 360 that loaded XBE files aswell as XEX would be better. Plus XBMC would be better if it was designed for 360 with HD compatibility. But how do you load Surreal64. The game loads fine and the roms show up but when I go to load a rom it crashes. I think this is because it is trying to open up the other XBE's for the emulators but cannot find them or that the 360 won't let it open them. Please help as I am ready to break my 360 and I have been wanting it to emulate the 64 since I JTAG'd.
Does that mean it'll run previously modified original xbox discs, which were supposed to run on original xbox? As some of you may know, original xbox backups with modified xbe wouldn't run on a modded 360. To run original xbox backups on 360, it would require the original xbe as well (and not one hacked to play on original xbox). Does that mean the limitation is gone? Just to make sure I'm not reading the technical talk wrong
Can someone please answer my question. How do you get surreal 64 loading???? I have asked so many different people and nobody answers. And yes people say that they got it working just not how.
