All right, i have had my new xbox for about a week and a half. Last night i was playing it and listening to music and everything was fine, when i turned it on today the sound is just crackling all the time and not clear at all. I'm wondering if its my HDMI cable or my xbox, i also checked its not my tv speakers when i watch my dish. I also tried going in the console settings of the xbox and changing the setting to dolby stereo, and i usually have it on Dolby 5.1 . If anyone could help me solve this problem i would just like to know if its my HDMI cable or my xbox, or just something else. Thanks in advance.
The static stopped, after multiple restarts it was still staticy and then after i turned it on for atleast a fifth time the sound was working like normal. so i still dont know what was wrong with it. :/
