XBOX 360 big dashboard update on the 17th

    Obviously you cant play on xbox live without updating. With the insane ban hammer going around, what do you guys think?

    Well, banned has it's advantages too :)
    the only disadvantages it has IMO is the loud sound of the DVD, no more online play, and no more DLC. (I dont know how much u value them but DLC are generally included in GOY editions so ...)
    The pros, no more to worry about getting banned (no neeed to update FWs anymore with the risk of bricking ur drive and the xbox in general), just patch the iso image :)

    Looks like there is no new update. The new features will just appear in the dashboard without it being updated. From Major Nelson's Twitter page: -

    i have owned a 360 for the lasst six months and just sold it(well a couple of them)a couple of weeks ago. i wonder if it's banned??
