so I broke my xbox controler last night and I opened it up and the whole right thumbstick was shattered. Not the actual thing you put your thumb on but the inside part that moves. It's a grey piece a white piece and a white thing that moves. I was wondering if any one knows where they sell this or if they even sell it at all.

    Thanks

Not sure if there are any changes in the analog sticks through different versions. But I have a couple of them laying around, you would have to desolder your old one and solder the new one in.

If you can find one in an old controller you could desolder and resolder it its not that hard. If you need someone to do it Just pm me I can do it for you.

or just spend the 20 bucks on a new controller, that seems easier than messing around with desoldering and resoldering the thing.

Yes that would be easier if you dont have any skills in soldering. But if you do its really pretty quick and easy.

yea, but the time you spend on taking apart 2 controllers and desoldering both of them, and soldering the new one isnt worth the 20 dollars to me. plus you are going to have to find a donor controller and spend money on it, or spend the money on the joystick pieces, so you might as well just buy a new one and be done with it.

i've used amazon hundreds of times, never for controllers though, just books, a couple dvds, and a some other electronics. but the last time i bought controllers, i just got em off of ebay, got 4 for like 40 bucks total, and they all worked fine and everything.
