Xbox 360 Controller For Windows & Guide Light Question

    Hi everyone and a merry Xmas to you all.

    I bought myself an xbox 360 controller for my pc, (wired) and i have to say its the best game controller i ever used. But ...the guide light is on after i boot the pc up and wont go out until i load a game and then quit out of the game. It lights up on no 1 . I am using the latest MS drivers.
    Is there a way to turn off the light without opening/closing a game after i boot up ?

    Unplug it :| it's lighting up because it's connected to your computer.

    No other way then ?

    The lights go off after i quit out of a game. On when i boot up.

    Not that I know of, it does the same thing for me with my Guitar Hero Xplorer.

    Ahh well,
    its a good controller and the light isnt so bad.Best just ingnored i think.
