    Are the wired Xbox 360 controllers compatible with the original Xbox? As in, will they work in the original Xbox ports?

    No. There are no 'controller' ports on the 360. It's just done through the usb connection.

    So you could use a soldered connector like the ones used for connecting a USB keyboard to convert the USB to Xbox USB, right?
