Since halo 3 is coming out only for xbox 360, will we still be able to play halo 3 on our regular xbox?
Are you serious?? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say NO. Backwards compatibility, I'm thinkin' yeah. (i.e. Halo & Halo 2 on the 360). If you could play 360 games on the original xbox console, Microsoft would be wasting a ton of money on the "Next Generation" release. Are they anyway? That's another story. Anyway, no sir. I don't believe playing Halo 3 on the original xbox console will be a feature. You're just gonna have to break down and get the new system. If I'm wrong, I'll apologize now but I think it's safe to say no.
I'm gonna back up uniique1 on this one and i do so for the following reason. The stats on the Xbox360 includ TRIPPLE water cooled 3.2ghz proccesors... do you think that the original xbox will come anywhere close to that? No. It is plausible to build a patcher that allows 360 games to be played on the xbox... however because the hardware wont be good enough it wont happen. its like trying to play Halflife 2 on a 486 dx-2. -Dex
