I have a projection TV capable of 1080i which is what I have my Xbox set at, but after reading your 720p vs 1080i argument I wanted to try out 720p to see if it makes any visual improvement in my games. Problem is when I switch to 720p it shows three screens of the Xbox and crunches them together. It kind of looks like this. It is this TV: RCA 52 Another thing I was wondering: Is there any safe way of hooking up my computer to use the TV as a monitor?
720p isn't better than 1080i especially since your tv can only display 480i and 1080i. Leave your xbox 360 set to 1080i and have no regrets for you are getting the best picture you tv set can put out. P.S. I'm assuming that you are referring to the 52" RCA (3)CRT rear-projection set. This set is only capable of displaying interlaced pictures and must interlace all progressive scan frames. Ced
