xbox 360 or ps3

my teacher works for a game magazine and he free specs and stuff and im a big xbox fan but from what ive seen ps3 graphics are look better than xbox 36 does anybody have something that might shed light on the xbox 360.

No the graphics won't be evenly matched, because the PS3 will be more powerful and will probably have slightly beter graphics. The reasons why PS3 looks soo much better than the 360 graphics, is because PS3 is just showing videos, not actual gameplay. I dont think they even have a working PS3 yet. The 360 is showing actual clips from gameplay. Hopefully this helped clear everything up

yep x-box 360 is gonna lose as far as graphics power and all around fun ps3 will have 2 tearflops if power and ps3 will be supported with nvidia video card so ps3 will kick ass as far as grahics so its leaning to ps3 but nintendo revolution might be pretty good also cause sony and nintendo keep there specs and other info private and the nazi's of the 21st century..I mean microsoft blabs about all there specs so sony and nintendo know what they have and can make it better that thees in 1 way or a other so im saying in thrid x-box 360 then nintendo revolution then ps3 x-box 30 comes out in 2 months and ps3 comes out in about a year in a half or sumthing so sony and nintendo will watch x-box 360 and make it seem outdated when they come out remember nintendo said theyd promise to change the face of gamging forever and if your one of the biggest video game companies in the world u dont say shit like that unless u mean it.

what is that??? how could you say such a dumb thing??? and ps if xbox comes out b4 more ppl will buy their consoles, i ordered mine yesterday, and like the ps2 did, they will have more time to evolve and ENLARGE THEIR GAME LIBRARIE DUMB@$$

 

bsides microsoft sales isnt stupid, they will launch halo 3 (HUGEEEE $$ from halo fanboys) and will probably have a price drop equaling or lower depending on the price of the ps3 when it launches, if you think about it, its a great sales technique

I couldnt agree with you more. I know so many people that bought PS2 because they have more games. That will be the 360 this time around.

 

Why argue when you can get all three next gen consoles. That way you can enjoy each ones unique benefits.

 

Because not everyone can go out and drop $1500 for each system and a game two. They have to decide on one and are trying to convince other people to choose that system too.

 

Since the xbox360 can handle single threaded games a lot better than the ps3(despite the fact that both consoles were built for multi- threaded games)so for the first 3 years at least the xbox360 will have better game graphics, since multi-threaded games are 3-5 years off.

 

THE PS3 and XBOX360 will have the same graphics...or the PS3 will have slightly better graphics that arent THAT noticable. PS3 graphics wotn be ass good as what sony said, but it will be a bit worst tha what was expected of the ps3, just a bit.

 

I'd say that games are all that matters the PS3 might have better graphics but the 360 has got games like quake 4 or halo 3 so my point here is that graphics rarely make the game and as more and more great games come out I doubt you'd be sorry if you buy any of the 3 consoles and if any of you are wondering about nintendo... specs, launch titles, and demos for the revolution are coming out during the Tokyo Game Show Sept 17 so watch out too see how the revolution stacks up against the competition

 

Why are people still saying the ps3 has better graphics despite the fact that there is no evedence and multi-threaded games are a long way off?

 

I agree with chaos, it is not so much the graphics to what makes a system great it is the games and marketing. I mean look at the xbox vs the PS2. The PS2 has out sold the xbox in the number of systems and games and it has less power than the xbox! Why because of marketing. But microsoft has learned a lot by entering the gaming industry and they are marketing themselves better by offer two different packages and even doing that win a xbox360 every ten minutes from moutain dew. I mean a lot of people can only afford one game system and microsoft is doing there very best to make sure that the xbox360 is that machine.

 

Xbox, PS3 ya ya yaa.. xbox has 3x 3.2GHz processors with 1MB cache
PS3 has 7x 3.2GHz processors with 512KB cache. Their almost the same,
All 3 consols will have 512MB of memory but the Revolution will have the
fastest memory which is a shock to me, and the revolutions graphics engine will clock at 600MHz as compared to Ps3 550MHz and 360's 500MHz.

What do you think about this?

 

Where are u getting this info about the nintendo revolution. The last I checked nintendo was going to be very underpowered when u compare it to the other two systems.
