i heard that xbox one crashed at some show when bill gates was showing it. And like xbox has v1 up to v6. 6 versions of xbox. And i think xbox 360 so far has v1 and v1.1. In general whats the difference between the versions? Is the newer version more optimized and bug fixes or is it only to prevent modding?? The reason i want to know this is if i should buy x360 now or later (depends on the answer to above questions)
but whats the diffrence between the versions. eg. for xbox 1 there is 6 versions from v1 to v6. What improvements/bug fix are there? Is the newer version more optimized and bug fixes or is it only to prevent modding should i huy a xbox 360 now or later versions? (so far v 1 and v 1.1)
I'm not sure of the technical specifications but the earlier the better with the 360 and every console if you want to mod.Hackers tear it apart the first months and then they release new versions to fix the holes. For example the firmware chips in the newer 360's, samsung drive firmware ms28 is really hard to dump and they just released a new hitachi drive version to that hasn't been figured out.Same with the ps2 two and xbox most of the versions fixed things like that, and technology also got better smaller chips etc..
so its just mainly to prevent modding. The newer versions, does it have hardware improvements? like maybe the newer versions run the game smoother? if not then i will just get a 360 now. wahts ur opinion
well since no one seemed to answer it i will! the 1.1 has new drive and fixed the internal cooling and video glitchs example the 1.0 360 got to temperatures over 160 degress aka almost on fire causeing the game to freeze and get dirty disk errors now the 1.1 fixed the cooling to stay under a healthy 70 degrees even when under the most stress and fixed the dirty disk error aka lazer lens pretty much tahts the only difference
Where did you read that about the fixing the cooling? The 360 is still built the exact same way from the ones i've seen. Also just because some people have said theve had problems with the 360 doesnt mean everyone has.Its really not many compared to the 4-5 million+ that have one or two. I got mine around launch time and haven't had any freezing problems with it.And yeah there will be a lite-on drive in the 360 come christmas time.
