    Hi guys
I got a xbox 360 made on 07 and it have the 2 red light.
Before I put x-clamp it would turn on and overheat in like 15min,then I open it and put more fans and it was working fine but open only. I did the xclamp and 2red light would come up right away, I try a a lot things like, lose or tight the screws so then I did the x-clamp on the tall cpu and it works but after so many mins it will overheat. Any one know what I can do? I was thinking of modding the case with a 80mm fan so air come from outside and maybe having the drive outside. or is there a way I can make it get 3rrod that way I can send it in ? I dont think they take 2rrod. Thank for the replies guys.

I actually used a HEAT gun on the heatsink, got it super hot, and for some odd reason, I never had the issue again.

heatgun is stupid. You will destroy your motherboard. PM me if you want to reflow your motherboard the proper way.

save the heatguns for paint on the wall. A proper reflow does wonder. I use a BGA IRDA machine and always fight with the hot air guys :p good luck on the system
