lol, ive been posting things the last few days and still really havnt got all the answers im looking for.
i need to know what type of dvd the xbox will read when i make backups, like dvd-r, dvd-rw, dvd+r, or dvd+rw. and i need to know if that even matters or if its just personal pref.
i was hopping i could make backups on
dvd-r but if i cant then i need to know if a dvd-r/w drive can write to a dvd+r or if i should get a dvd+r/w type drive, please help

I use the +r format but only because that is what i started with and i havn't fucked any of the back-ups up and they all work fine... I have a sony dru-500a so i can write both formats and the xbox will read both formats.

    Hello,

Can any one tell me how to backup my games using the Nero 6. I tried some of the steps from the forums but not working at all. I burn it by first creating the ISO in Nero 6.0 and then burn it to DVD-R because my xbox only reads DVD-Rs. One time it I burned it and I put it in my xbox and it come up with the screen this is a xbox game disc please put it in your xbox to play. Why is it doing this? Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance!!
