Well, i screwed up some boot-files.
I got my HDD formated, the boot-disc works, but i have no C or E drive backup.
    I found something called * mhackxbox *.
It has the softmodded C and E drives for Xbox. Can i FTP them over to my xbox, and then install the Slayers Auto Installer 2.6/ 2.7 boot-disc?
I am a bit confused over all
the options you have with the Auto Installer, what should i install?
I have xbox version 1.0 with Executer 2.1 lite installed.

if you have a chip in your xbox, just start the slayers boot disc and choose option to rebuild your hd. then the cd rebuilds your hd (c and or e drive) and you good to go. no need to hassle with softmod files if you have a modchip in it. as long as your harddrive is being recognized by your xbox, the slayer disc will put all the dashfiles you need in the right place on the c drive.

is your hard drive recognized by your xbox? if you have a chipped xbox, and you boot slayer and tells it to (re)build your hard drive (either upgrade or retail), you have the option which dash you want. choose any and that should work. after this, boot your xbox off of its chip!

I use the Rebuild option, it formates the drives and installes dashboard.
When i reboot without the boot cd, i just get error message 13.
When i turn of my chip, and boots up i get M$Dash up.
