yo, im sorta new to all this, and ive had an xbox for years, and just got it modified. now, when playing bootleg games, when i first turn on the xbox, i see a icon on the top left corner called evo x or something of that sort. and first of all, to get that program running, you have to turn on the xbox in a certain way, and um...i forgot how!!!!!!can anyone help me? im not sure what i can do to fix this, the man who modded my xbox showed me how to turn on the xbox correctly, but its not working for me, uh oh. help plz, thank you
i have his mod also. My eject button turns it on for original games and my power button turn is on for chipped games. hope this helps.
hm, ur lucky, wen the guy told me how to use the xbox chip, his EXACT words were " first you press the eject button, then place ur game in, tehn u press teh power button, and turn the xbox on again by pressing the power button to get ur game started", tell me how i just did that ...a good...50 times in the last 10 minutes..wtf, and it only works sometimes. im soo lost, i seriously hope someone can help me out. when i follow his instructions, it only works sometimes,and iono if im doing something wrong, like am i suposed to do it before the xbox menu screen or during the logo is shown or even before..im so lost
Hey My friend has the evo x chip and he has to hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate the chip...Hope this helps
