xbox crystal modding help.

hi.

i am a complete newbie to modding xboxes and stuff like that.

i have a crystal xbox and want to get it modded.

im not sure what version it is(what modchip can i get that will definately work with all versions of crystal xbox?)

is their a way to find out what version your crystal xbox is.

(DOES IT MATTER THAT I HAVE A CRYSTAL XBOX...WILL EVERY MODCHIP WORK ON A CRYSTAL XBOX THAT WORKD ON A NORMAL XBOX)

all i know is the serial number and manufacture date are on the bottom of the xbox.
