Hi, I hope you can help with this. I just bought a chipped xbox from a friend but I don't know which chip it has! Also I would like to backup my own games but without losing the original xbox dashboard and without having to replace the hard drive. Is this possible? I know the chip work's fine because I took my xbox to a friend's house and tried his backups out on it Is it possible just to boot the EvoX dash from disc as and when I need it? Hope someone can help....
yes u can use a boot disc for evox. U never need to install it if your not going to use it all the time. Just remeber if you plan to back up a game on your HDD it will only save like 1 or 2. But if you have back-ups on a DVD u got no problems
