Xbox Dashboard

I am new to this site, so if these questions have been asked, I have not been ablet to find them.

1. My son had a friend mod his Xbox, how do I tell what the Dashboard is? It doesn't have a name on it as far as I can tell.

2. Since he has a game on the hard drive, does this mean (if I follow the tutorial) I can make backups of his games?

im sure by the time you see this post your question is already answered but i dont care.if you have the xbox set up through a conection to your pc you can ftp the game over to your computer then burn the game to a dvd.pretty simple.

 

Yes u can make backups and if the dash is blue than its Unleashx if it is grey or green it is Evolutionx.

 

Thanks I appreciate the answers. I am attempted to backup a game last night, but had trouble getting linked between the computer, and Xbox. After a few hours got that done, then when I attempted to move the game files to computer, I had an error, that is where I left off. I will attempt it again tonight. Thanks again for the answers.

 

What kind of error?

 

If u want to burn the games after u have them on your PC they need to be in iso then burn with nero.

 

also try using alchol 120% use this to burn the game to a dvd-r

Thanks for all of the help. I didn't really get an error, I just lost connection between the computer, and Xbox. But that is old news, I went home last night, and Networked, transfered, converted, and burned without a hickup. The game works fine! Thanks again for all of the help.
