If I have a 120gb hard drive in my computer can I take that out and install it in my xbox. Or do I need a completely brand new and blank hard drive? Also, I hear alot about people advertising that their xbox has a samsung drive. What is speacial about that and which version of the xbox comes with that? Thanx
You can use that harddrive in your Xbox but you'll need to reformat and repartition it. The Samsung Xbox DVD drive can read just about any type or Brand of disc you try to load, including CD-R. Personally I don't see the point since very,very few games will fit on CD-R. RustyDog
I think thats it's very usefull when you have ur avi's movies on cd-r and music cd-rs too.With other drives you won't be able to read those types of discs.
well, I have a dvd-r burner. so many of the games will fit on it. Will, the modded xbox have a problem reading those or do I need a samsung drive?
